EVENTS CONTINUED

WRVS with help from the Brighter Living Partnership and partner organisations launched a fruit and vegetable co-operative with massive success on the 16th January 2008. The scheme offers the opportunity to purchase bags of fruit, veg and salad for £2.50 each compared with around £4 when bought from traditional retailers. The co-op is open every Wednesday at St Simon and St Jude's Church on Old Park Lane in High Park, Southport between 1 and 4pm to both place and collect orders.
