Wii Project

Brighter Living Partnership applied to The Hemby Trust for a grant to purchase 2 Nintendo Wii consoles and related games and peripherals. We were graciously awarded £1000 from the Trust. Having developed a programme we are now looking for groups and organisations to work with, helping to improve flexibility, co-ordination and most importantly inter-generational working. The consoles implement new motion sensing technology enabling those who have never played games before to interact in a more lifelike way, playing simple games of golf and tennis using the controller as a club or racquet. We also have less active games such as quiz games for those who prefer something more taxing on the brain than the body. Click HERE to to see a video of our last Wii session at Sandpipers.

If you are interested and have the room available for a mini Wii Olympics please get in touch at brighterliving@seftoncvs.org.uk
